The subject for TheBig Draw at Pontarddulais Comprehensive School was Aboriginal Art.

The choice was excellent and the response of the children even better.
They really grabbed the oportunity with open arms and created a story relative to the Aboriginal concept which is usually descriptive of some kind of event or make believe.
The story is about a village going through tribal warfare and the animals get involved to save the human dignity of the indigenous village population.
The art work is about 10m x 1.5m big and laminated. The medium used is collage - paper cut outs pasted onto the background using pastels and crayons
.
The children created a wonderful atmosphere in the classroom and made me feel as if I was one of them. They woprked really hard to be able to complete the work on time - and they did.
I would like to say thank you to them once again for making me feel as one of them.
