Project Launch at the Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea.

Held on 1st October, 2008 at the Dylan Thomas Centre for Literature in Swansea, the launch gave the children, parents, teachers, story tellers, artists and others the chance to present, view and celebrate the success of the project. Scott Baker, the musician on the project, provided music for the evening.

The exhibition will run until 19th October (AM only on the 11th) and at the launch the story tellers were in character and many of the children also dressed up as they did at Clyne Gardens on their visit to Fairyland.

Everyone was welcomed to the Dylan Thomas centre by Dave Woolley, Literature Officer and speeches were made by Carolyn Davies, Arts advisor, Maria hayes, artist and Irene de Lloyd, Primary Adviser/Early Years. The finished books made by the children with maria Hayes were presented and the children also retold a version of the stories they illustrated. The video made by HyperAction of the illustrated stories and the story tellers in Clyne Gardens was also presented.

The evening was enjoyed by all and everyone lived happily ever after!
