Celebrating 50 years of Gower as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)

Schools Artist in Residence/Ecology Project

Aim:

To raise awareness of Gower 50th Anniversary as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by working with schools to invite participation for working with an Artist in Residence.

Criteria for selecting schools:

• The 6 schools will represent a geographical spread within the City and County of Swansea

• at lease one Welsh Medium School will be selected

demonstrates greatest benefit to pupils

• demonstrates an appreciation for Gower as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

• demonstrates an awareness of sustainability and responsibility and respect for the environment
