Year 9

The students worked on individual designs based on Cultures of the world; Indian, Native American, Inuit and Aboriginal. Many prepared for the workshop and had created drawings and designs at home. During the workshop the students were taught how to cut paper stencils, experiment with colour gradation and register stencils; layering two or more prints on top of one another, to achieve more complex designs.

The results were impressive as everyone achieved finished pieces of artwork suitable for display.

Gweithiodd y myfyrwyr ar ddyluniadau unigol wedi’u seilio ar Ddiwylliannau’r byd; Indiaidd, Americanaidd Brodorol, Inwit ac Aborigine. Roedd llawer wedi paratoi ar gyfer y gweithdy ac wedi creu lluniadau a dyluniadau gartref. Yn ystod y gweithdy, cafodd y myfyrwyr ddysgu sut i dorri stensiliau papur, arbrofi â graddio lliwiau a chyfateb stensiliau; haenu dau brint neu fwy un ar ben y llall, er mwyn creu dyluniadau mwy cymhleth.

Roedd y canlyniadau’n drawiadol iawn gan fod pawb wedi llwyddo i gynhyrchu darnau celfwaith gorffenedig a oedd yn addas i’w harddangos.
