Our School

Above the school
Is the sky.
The sun is shining.
The night fades.
Below the school
Are ants
Taking food to their queen.
Maggots are eating
Dead people.
The mud is brown
And squelchy.
Outside the school
Is Manor Park.
There are trees
Waving in the wind.
Swings are waiting
For children.
Gates are standing still.
Inside the school
Are children working hard.
Children are getting books
Out of the library.
Teachers are teaching children.
People are working
On computers.

Above the School

Above the school I can see birds
Flying in the sky
And clouds floating high
And the blue sky turning black.
Below the school I can see ants,
Worms and dirty water
Floating like chocolate sauce.
Outside the school are
Trees moving in the wind
And shops with sweets and
Chocolate
And it tastes beautiful
Some of the sweets taste like
Lemon.
Inside the school is an office
And children with their teacher
And a big library with lots of books
And paintings that the children
Have done.
